Together, these efforts reflect UNITAR’s holistic and future-facing approach to building peaceful, just and inclusive societies.

Peacebuilding efforts trained 50 women leaders and youth across 17 countries. Support for resilience in post-conflict settings included South–South exchanges on disarmament in Colombia, victim-centred counter-terrorism training in West Africa, and maritime security in Malaysia and the Gulf of Guinea.
